Properties:

- Class IIa medical device

- Composition: mixture of dimethacrylate resins (BisGMA, BISEMA, HEMA) combined with catalysts, inhibitors and photoinitiator (CQ: DMAEMA).

- Is used to obtain a hard, smooth and glossy surface, characteristic for teeth, in all types of reconstructions.

- It can be used with chemically and light cured composite materials and glass ionomer cements in: fillings, inlays/onlays, crowns, bridges and stabilising splints.

- It is particularly useful as the final layer in permanent composite restorations.

- Glaze undergoes free radical polymerisation activated by visible light from the blue region (400-500 nm).

Method of use:

1. The surface to be glazed does not require application of a bonding system.

2. Clean and dry the surface to be glazed. If the surface is contaminated, use Etchgel. The use of Glaze does not require polishing prior to application. Glaze allows a smooth and shiny surface to be attained without the need for mechanical finishing.

3. Cover the tooth with Glaze, spreading it evenly so that the surface is as smooth as possible. In layers thicker than 0.5 mm, the colour of the reconstruction can become more yellow.

4. Cure in accordance with the polymerisation table provided.

Polymerisation:

- Halogen/LED (500-800 mW/cm2) - 40 sec.

- LED (>800 mW/cm2) - 30 sec.
