Arkona Parosin Perioflush liquid for the irrigation of periodontal pockets

Parosin is an excellent preparation for irrigation, rinsing and cleaning of periodontal pockets and the oral mucosa caused by retention of food remains, regardless of other gingival inflammations or the cause of their formation.

The combined effect of ozonated water, low pH and minerals, including colloidal silver, prevents the build up of plaque and pathogenic micro – organisms.

Parosin is available as a single pack, containing one 3 ml syringe of liquid solution together with a syringe applicator (pre-bent needle tip), or as a kit of 10 syringes (3 ml each) with 10 applicators.

Properties:

- Composition: ozonated water, silver nanocolloid, sodium nitrate, aromas, orthophosphoric acid, lactic acid.

- Irrigates, rinses and cleans periodontal pockets.

- The minerals dissolve and dilute the inflammatory accumulations within the periodontal pockets, without potentially painful foaming.

- Removes 99% of Microorganisms.

- Irrigation of periodontal pockets should be performed alongside most of the other dental procedures.

- Only regular irrigation of periodontal pockets ensures a complete elimination of disease symptoms. The procedure should be performed regularly – every three months.

Indications:

- periodontal pockets

- around class II restorations

- areas around teeth with difficult eruption, especially wisdom teeth

- after scaling and curettage procedures

- under dentures and around teeth supporting the braces

- areas under restorations such as bridges and crowns

- periodontal pockets around teeth intended for extraction

- areas around orthodontic appliances

Method of use:

- Remove the tip cap and replace it with the pre-bent applicator.

- Insert the applicator carefully into an inflamed periodontal pocket as deeply as possible.

- Rinse the inflamed area, slowly pressing the plunger of the syringe.

- Repeat the procedure until all the inflammatory content has been removed.

- After the procedure, order the patient to rinse their mouth with water.

- To reduce pain during the procedure, slightly heat the preparation prior to use for e.g. by placing it in warm water.

- Parosin should not be used to rinse the root canals
